Welcome to ReNew Purcellville, your potential new home! We appreciate your interest in joining our community. Before you apply, please take a moment to review our Eligibility page to ensure that you meet our income requirements.
Please note that our apartment homes are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible applicants.
How to Apply:
Step 1 - Online Application
Visit the ‘Floorplans & Availability’ tab and select ‘Apply Now’ next to your desired floorplan. If ‘Get Notified’ appears, this floorplan is not available at this time. By filling out your name and contact information, you will be notified once your desired floor plan becomes available for you to apply for.
The Online Application takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and requires a $50 refundable application fee per adult, along with a non-refundable $125.00 Administrative Fee. These fees cover credit and criminal background checks, ensuring a thorough assessment of your application.
Before starting the application, gather the following required documents for uploading for each adult (18+ years) occupant:
Verification of Identity – Provide a photo of one of the following:
• Driver’s license (front and back)
• Passport
• Employment Identification Card
• Visa
Income Verification – Provide all that apply:
• Six most recent pay stubs from all jobs
• Employment and Unemployment Benefits
• Government Assistance
• Social Security, Pension, and Veteran's Benefits
• Disability Benefits
Once your Online Application is completed and paid for, our team will contact you by the following business day to confirm that all necessary documents were provided and whether anything else is needed before screening.
Step 2 – Screening
Once the application screening is initiated, we will receive an approval or denial within 24-72 hours. Once completed, a team member will contact you regarding the results.
Step 3 - Compliance Review and Approval
After your application receives approval, one of our team members will contact you to request the remaining documents necessary to comply with the requirements of the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Please refer to the Certification Checklist for further information on the specific documents that will be requested.
